You will receive a 7 Day Meal Plan that will be tailored around your personal requirements and preferences. These may include any favourite foods you wish to incorporate, and any foods you want to avoid that you either don't like, or have an alergy or intolerance too.

I will calculate your Personalised Macro-Nutrient Requirements based on your age, weight, height, gender and by how active you are, how often you work out and your specific health and fitnrss goals. You will receive your requirements of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and total daily calories, along with youe daily water and fibre requirements. These will be factored in and applied to your 7 Day Meal Plan.

If you are local to The Gym Group on Deansgate in Manchester City Centre you are welcome to visit me at my gym for an optionl Body Composition Analysis included as part of your 7 Day Meal Plan. Here you will learn your current weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, body water/hydration, viseral fat, bone density and metabolic age. If you are not local, or can not make it to the gym, please arrange to measure you latest body weight and height.

You will receive a PFD copy of your 7 Day Meal Plan via email. You will also receive your own login area for the software I use to create these meal plans. You will receive an email invite from me with your new account and login information, and a link to download a smart phone app that will allow you to view and manage your Meal Plan.

You will have the ability to totally interact with your Meal Plan. This means that if you want to add or remove a food or liquid, you can. You can also use the SWOP Function which allows you to select a food or liquid you wish to change, and select an alternative from the drop down menu. The clever thing is, your Macros & Calories will automatically recalculate whenever you make a change, so that your plan still revolves around your calorie and macro targets for the day.

Every single cell in your body required good balanced nutrition to function properly. This includes all your vitamins, minerals and water. If you don't consume enough, and/or your diet is poor and unhealthy, this will slow down your bodies ability to function correctly, and will hold you back when it comes to getting results, for example fat burning / weight loss.

 

Your body will still function when you lack the essential nutrients required, however it's like putting half dead batteries into a torch. The torch will still work, however the light will be very dim.

 

If we deprive our body of the essential nutrients required, this will not only slow down, or even prevent you from reaching your goals, but will also increase your risk of illness and disease. Those who eat and drink correctly will find they get ill far less often, and will feel happier, more energetic and will sleep better (to list just a few).

Infact you may even discover some new tastier foods you hadn't considerd in the past.

 

Although I can quite simply advise you on the correct ways to eat and drink correctly, the most effective way for me to advise you on the best way to make improvements is by filling out a 7 day diet diary...

3 or 7 Day Diet Diary Analysis

A Diet Diary Analysis is easier than you may think. You simply record down
everything you eat and drink over 3 or 7 (recommended) days. I am especially interestred in all the naughty treats you consume, even if you know a food is unhealthy, so be sure to include everything.

 

Don't worry about the food amounts, or the values of protein, carbs, fats and calories just yet. In your early stages of your training I am more interested in bringing your nutrition into balance and providing your body with the key nutrients and hydration required to get results and give you energy.

 

 

 

 

 

To get started, simply download the Diet Diary sheets (PDF) above by right clicking the link and clicking Save As. Or click the link once, and the PDF copy of the document will open in a new window. Simply print off and hand to me when you see me, or write your own copy (in clear writing) on paper (or email to me).

FILLED IN - WHAT NEXT?

The most effective and recommended way to go over your diet diary is in person, so I can better explain the changes you need to make, and so I can ask and answer questions in real-time

 

Your Dietary Analysis will be included as part of one of your

Personal Training sessions with no additional charges.

 

All PT sessions are personalised to you, whether we engage in a fitness session, talk about nutrition, you have deep tissue sport massage treatment, flexibility/posture correction, etc.

 

For non-PT clients I recommend going through this with you in person. I can also take a look at your body fat percentage, weight, body water, muscle mass, posture and many others if you like, at no extra charge. Although if it's hard for you to see me in person, I can go through this with you over the phone, online chat or by exchanging emails or by sending an email/postal report.

 

 

Simply complete your dietary diary, make payment (if applicable), and book in to see me after the 7 days are up.
